General Questions
MyCheck is a free service. You should NOT be charged for pathology costs or use a Medicare card.
If the collection centre said they will send you a bill, tell them the sexual health clinic will pay on their corporate account.
Please proceed with the tests, the bill will be charged to us. If you have problems, please call SHIL on 1800 451 624.
You need to have visited and been registered with your local sexual health clinic at least once before to be a registered client at your local clinic to use MyCheck.

If you have symptoms, call your clinic to make an appointment to see a nurse or doctor in person.
This way you can get an assessment and treatment more quickly. If you are unable to get an appointment call your GP.

If all your results are negative, you will receive a text message letting you know everything is OK.
If your results are not negative, a nurse from your local sexual health clinic will call you within 7 days of your test to discuss them. With a positive result, the nurse will help you to arrange an appointment to get treated.
You can do a test in Douglass Hanly Moir, Southern IML, Capital Pathology.
If you choose DHM, Southern IML, or Capital, you can search and go to any nearest collection centre here"
You can use a fake name and date of birth, but it must be the same you use at the clinic, so the pathology form matches in the system.
If you don’t receive your barcode and you have used fake details, you won’t be able to show ID for testing at the collection centre. In this event, call your clinic.
